ROCCO B. COMMISSO VIOLA PARK, BAGNO A RIPOLI, ITALIA — ACF Fiorentina annuncia la nomina di Catherine Commisso come Vice Presidente del Club.

Come Vice Presidente, garantirà continuità e prospettiva istituzionale ai massimi livelli della Società. 

La nomina ha inoltre un significato speciale perché Catherine sarà profondamente impegnata a onorare l’eredità di Rocco e i valori che ha stabilito con la Fiorentina, portando avanti quanto cominciato con la creazione del Rocco B. Commisso Viola Park anche nelle nuove iniziative e sviluppi del club.

“Sono profondamente onorata di accogliere questo nuovo ruolo per portare avanti quanto abbiamo cominciato con Rocco. Lo farò con profonda umiltà e ispirata da quanto il mio compianto marito ha voluto dare alla Fiorentina.  

Nei nostri 50 anni di matrimonio, ho avuto l’onore di essere al suo fianco e di capire quanto lo sport e il calcio siano stati importanti per lui. Ma sono stati soprattutto la determinazione, la dedizione e lo spirito collaborativo a portarlo avanti nel suo percorso professionale, sempre dedicato al prossimo. Sempre con la capacità di ascoltare e mettere le necessità degli altri al primo posto. 

Voglio portare avanti il mio ruolo nel suo nome, dedicando la gran parte dei nostri sforzi alle future generazioni.  Nel lavoro con Giuseppe e con il nostro gruppo dirigente, l’esempio di Rocco continuerà a guidare il mio giudizio e la mia visione.

Catherine Commisso Appointed Vice President of ACF Fiorentina

ROCCO B. COMMISSO VIOLA PARK, BAGNO A RIPOLI, ITALY — ACF Fiorentina announces the appointment of Catherine Commisso as Vice President of the Club.

As Vice President, she will provide continuity and institutional perspective at the highest levels of the Club.

The appointment also carries special significance, as Catherine will be deeply committed to honoring Rocco’s legacy and the values he established at Fiorentina, carrying forward what began with the creation of the Rocco B. Commisso Viola Park through the Club’s new initiatives and future developments.

“I am deeply honored to take on this new role and to carry forward what we began with Rocco. I will do so with great humility, inspired by everything my late husband wanted to give to Fiorentina.

During our 50 years of marriage, I had the privilege of standing by his side and understanding how important sport and football were to him. But above all, it was his determination, dedication, and collaborative spirit that guided him throughout his professional journey, always with a deep commitment to others. He always had the ability to listen and to put the needs of others first.

I want to carry out this role in his name, dedicating a significant part of our efforts to future generations. As I work alongside Giuseppe and our leadership team, Rocco’s example will continue to guide my judgment and my vision.
