Our latest signing Simon Sohm was presented to the media on Wednesday. Here's a selection of his quotes: 

A NEW STEP - “I really like the project in place here and I think the club wants to move up a level. I want to help the team and I think with my qualities I can help us do well this season. That's my personal objective and our team objective. I'm very happy to be here. It's a new step in my career. After last season, coming to Florence is perfect. I want to succeed here.”

TARGETS - “We want to have a good season and win lots of games. We want to do well in the Conference League.”

POSITION – “I've spoken with the coach. I have to play my game, be physical and run a lot in attack and in defense. I'm comfortable playing in a two or a three – it makes no difference to me. I can play right or left. I'm a player who can do a job at both ends of the field – that's how I can help the team. If that's what the team needs, that's what I'll do. As long as we get the points. My goal is to help the team. That's all that matters to me.”

SCORING GOALS – “It was a nice start for me – to score my first goal for the club after eight minutes. I hope it won't be the last one I score! I feel good and I felt good against Man Utd too. I want to carry on like this. I'd like to score more goals. I like to think I'm a box-to-box player. One of my aims is to score more goals than last season. The team is working really well. We're ready to compete on three fronts.”
