Fiorentina's Conference League opponents Rakow are enjoying another good season, built on the foundations of a solid defense.
They currently lie fifth in the Polish league table, just four points behind leaders Zaglebie, and have enjoyed an even better European campaign: they finished second in the league stage behind Strasbourg with just two goals conceded (a defensive record bettered only by AEK Larnaca).
Their 3-4-2-1 formation makes them difficult to break down, with the wide midfielders dropping back to form a five-man back line when they don't have the ball.
When they win possession they are very dangerous on the break, with their wingers pushing forward to provide the ammunition for Jonatan Braut Brunes, who has already scored in the first leg.
