ACF Fiorentina is pleased to announce the signing of Sweden international Madelen Fatimma Maria Janogy. The forward joins Fiorentina from Hammarby, where she won the domestic league and cup last season. Since growing up in the Swedish town of Falkoping, Madelen has played for the likes of Mallbackens, Pitea and Wolfsburg, notching a total of over 240 goals.

Ever since making her bow with Sweden in 2019, Madelen has racked up two bronze medals at the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2019 and 2023 along with Olympic silver at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. The 28-year-old has put pen to paper on a contract with the club that runs until 30 June 2026.
