Christian Kouame had blood tests at Careggi hospital's Infectious Diseases Unit on Wednesday morning. If the tests come back positive, he should be given the all-clear to resume training with the team in the coming days.

Lucas Martinez Quarta began training with the rest of the squad on Monday and will remain in Florence to continue building up his fitness with a view to returning to the team for the coming games.

Arthur Melo meanwhile started working on the pitch again this morning after picking up an ankle injury against Torino at the weekend. He will also remain in Florence to continue with his recovery programme.
