In the wake of Tuesday's penalty shootout win over Bologna, and having congratulated the coach and spoken to Cristiano Biraghi, Oliver Christensen, Nico Gonzalez and Giacomo Bonaventura, President Rocco Commisso had the following to say:

"It was a great game between two teams that are both doing really well this season. Despite having had a day less to rest, we never let up and played with real determination for 120 minutes.
