FIORENTINA AND KAPPA® UNVEIL THE NEW KOMBATTM PRO 2024

The design of the 2023/24 home shirt is inspired by lilies, the quintessential symbol of Florence and Fiorentina. Flowers are woven together like the DNA helix. This DNA is what unites all the Viola, both fans and players, using PRO KOMBAT™ technology to further build the identity and history of the club.

Florence, 26 May 2023 Fiorentina and Kappa® have today unveiled the new Kappa® Kombat Pro 2024 home kit, with a design inspired by lilies, the quintessential symbol of the city of Florence and Fiorentina as a club since it was founded. Lilies will be the central theme in the Kappa collection for the 2023/24 season, representing the integrity, vitality and beauty of the club. The Viola players will wear the new home kit for the first time tomorrow, as they play their final game at the Stadio Artemio Franchi this season.

The pattern extends across the front, arms and back panel of the shirt. It features intertwining lilies, with tone-on-tone graphics, creating a DNA-like effect. This DNA is a unique and unmistakable characteristic of those who love Fiorentina and Florence.

The shirts feature the writing PLAY TO BE DIFFERENT on the outer edge of the collar, which represents the club’s brand, inviting people to stand out and embrace what makes them unique both on and off the pitch.

There are also 13 lilies printed inside the collar, like in the previous collection. This serves as a tribute to the fans, our 12th man, and Davide Astori, forever our captain.

As for technical specifications, the Kappa® Kombat™ Pro 2024 offers cutting-edge ultralight fabrics and stretch Nylon, ensuring maximum comfort and elasticity. The shirt is made of 85% recycled polyester and 15% elastane. The Hydroway Protection Technology ensures high breathability and effective release of body heat.

For the 2023/24 season, the Kappa® brand will sponsor all Fiorentina on-the-pitch clothing, while Robe di Kappa®, K-Way®, Superga®, Briko®, and Sebago® will handle other official apparel and footwear. The BasicNet Group products will also be worn by both Fiorentina boys’ and girls’ youth teams.

The new 2023/24 home kit goes on sale today at www.fiorentinastore.com, www.kappa.com, and in all Fiorentina and official Kappa® stores.
