Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano speaks ahead of the away game at Empoli, on Matchday 14 in Serie A.

ON THE MATCH - "It's a very important match for us. Winning against a big team like AC Milan needs to give us extra boost. Against Empoli we need to do well away from home again."

ON EMPOLI - "It's difficult - Empoli have a lot of points, they know how to play good football, they gave problems to every opponent. We need to be humble, respect them and give them a tough afternoon."

ON OUR GOALS - "It's not abut objectives. Now we want consistency. We've done good things, to turn them into great things we need to find consistency and mentality."

ON MENTALITY - "The mentality has to be to always want to win. Venuti told me he had a headache after the AC Milan game, as he played out of his usual position and was so concentrated. We're improving as a team, everyone is giving their all, the AC Milan victory enabled us to work well and it helps the players improve their confidence. I love talking to all my players, I love talking about football, and if there's a chance I do it with my players if it helps in improving."

ON NICO GONZALEZ - "Nico Gonzalez was decisive against AC Milan, but he needs to be even more consistent and we need to help him add minutes to his game."

ON VLAHOVIC - "Vlahovic is currently top scorer, he needs to continue like this, keep working hard."
