ACF Fiorentina is pleased to announce the signing of Matija Nastasic on a permanent transfer from Fussball-Club Gelsenkirchen-Schalke 04 e V.

Born in Valjevo on 28 March 1993, Nastasic enjoyed a previous spell at Fiorentina in 2011/12 and the start of 2012/13, making 29 appearances and scoring two goals.

The defender, who has 28 Serbia caps, won the Premier League and the League Cup with Manchester City.
