Lega Serie A has today announced the MVP awards for Serie A 2020/2021. Fiorentina's Dusan Vlahovic is the best Under 23 performer in Serie A 2020/21, winning the MVP Best Under 23 award for 2020/2021. 

The best youngster, goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, striker and overall MVP will receive their awards at the start of the 2021/22 season.  

The standings are based on stats by Stats Perform, carried out starting from the tracking data recorded by Netco Sports. The rating system, patented in 2010 with K-Sport and scientifically validated, considers not only statistical data and technical events, but also positional data. This allows us to analyze crucial aspects such as  movement off the ball and therefore the correct movements, the decision making, the contribution to the technical and physical efficiency of the team, which allow an objective and qualitative evaluation of the performance. For the final calculation, all the games played in Serie A TIM, TIMVISION Cup and PS5 Supercup were considered.

Dusan Vlahovic's stats:

- Technical Efficiency Index of 91.9%, with a Top Player potential (95%);
- Scored 21 goals (with 25% successful shooting) and capable of creating 46 scoring chances this season;
- Forces opponents to do extra work, carrying out an average of 76 explosive accelerations and 90 sharp braking per game;
- Consistent even in the non-possession phase, in each game he runs over 1 km at high intensity to chase his opponents.
