Fiorentina Femminile got their season off to the perfect start with a 2-0 win over Como in Matchday 1 of the Serie A Women’s Cup. 

A goal in each half by Filippa Curmark and Emma Ferge was enough to put the Viola top of Group B level on points with Inter, who beat Genoa 2-1 in the other game.

In two weeks' time, the Viola will travel to Milan for a head-to-head clash with the Nerazzurre.
