Here's what Nicolo Zaniolo had to say to our media team after completing his move to the club.

Welcome back to Florence. How does it feel to return to the club where you grew up?

“It feels great. As soon as I heard of the possibility of coming here I jumped at the chance because I know how nice it is here. There's everything you need to be able to perform well. I'm really happy to see my old team-mates and friends – people I already know. I can't wait to get started.”

Lots of things have changed since you left – Viola Park especially.

“When I got here last night I was speechless. It's incredible. I've seen lots of training centers but this is perhaps the best of the lot. It's got absolutely everything a professional footballer could ever need. It's magnificent.”

You've spoken to Raffaele Palladino. What did he say to you?

“We spoke on the phone before I came here. He said to come along with humility and desire and I said that's what I'll do. I've come here with huge desire to do as well as possible and give my all for this club. He's a great coach and I can't wait to work for him and the team.”
