Roberto Piccoli's solitary strike was enough for Fiorentina to defeat Watford in a friendly match which included an emotional reunion with Edoardo Bove.

The Italian striker fired into the bottom corner from outside the box at the end of the first half for what proved to be the only goal of the game.
