Read coach Paolo Vanoli’s comments ahead of the match against Juventus, delivered during the press conference at the Viola Park’s Wind Tre Media Center.
JUVENTUS - “We know perfectly well how important this match is for our fans. I want to see commitment and intensity from my players tomorrow. They must never lose hope and will have to bounce back when things get hard. However, the path ahead is a long one, which means that this game will certainly not be a turning point. The humility of winners is all about knowing where you stand.”
CURRENT SITUATION - “We must be united to overcome this; we’re a family. I also want to ask our fans to support us because it takes time to change one’s mindset.”
TEAM - “I found a team that really want to show what they are capable of. I’ve felt it in these two weeks of hard work. However, we must overcome this as a team, by helping each other when things get hard.”
ROBIN GOSENS - “Robin [Gosens] trained separately. He will miss this match.”
CAPTAIN - “To me there was too much criticism. Luca [Ranieri] is the team captain and will respect the values of his role.”
MOISE KEAN - “Moise [Kean] has fully recovered and is training with the rest of the team. He is a well-rounded player who can play both in a single-striker and two-striker system.”
