Fiorentina coach Paolo Vanoli held a press conference at Wind Tre Media Center inside Rocco B. Commisso Viola Park ahead of his team’s match against Sassuolo:

CURRENT SITUATION: “All our matches are important. However, we must admit that the mistakes we’ve made so far are ultimately a question of maturity.”

SASSUOLO: “It’s going to be a tricky game as they have very experienced players. We mustn’t get carried away. Unfortunately most of our preparation for this game has been recovering mentally. This upcoming game in Reggio Emilia will be important for us in terms of our league standing and of what we’re trying to build. We’ll have to show character and ruthlessness tomorrow in front of goal.”

CHRIST OULAI: “His response has been amazing. I was really annoyed, however, by the way [Nicolo] Fagioli has been criticized. Everyone needs to remain level-headed in this situation because Nicolo is a player who can do anything he wants.”

TABLE: “We’re making mistakes and we must make improvements.”

BETO BETUNCAL and MATEO PELLEGRINO: “We need to do a better job at attacking the box and involving our strikers more, also through crosses.”

PEDRO GONCALVES: “He’s a very versatile player. Here at Fiorentina he can play as a box-to-box midfielder and make a great contribution.”
