ACF Fiorentina announces that Daniele Rugani has joined the club from Juventus F.C. on an initial loan move. The deal includes a compulsory purchase if certain conditions are met.

Rugani was born in Lucca on July 29, 1994, and came through the youth ranks at Empoli. He has played for Empoli, Juventus, Rennes, Cagliari and Ajax.

Over the course of his career he has made 177 appearances in Serie A, 16 in the Coppa Italia, two in the Italian Super Cup, 19 in the Champions League and eight in the Europa League.

His medals collection includes five Serie A titles, four Coppa Italias and two Italian Super Cups.

Rugani also have seven senior Italy caps to his name.
