Amir Richardson was in buoyant mood after the 2-1 victory over Empoli on Sunday.

“It’s a good result and we’re really happy. We feel good because it was really tough and important for us.

As for the strong energy at the club, Richardson said, “We have this energy. It’s a particularity in Florence, so we’re lucky to have good fans like this and we hope they continue to push us till the end.”

The Morocco international also looked ahead to the UEFA Conference League semi-final with Betis.

“We have to stay focused and try to win these two games. Then we’ll see.”
