Daniele Galloppa's Primavera team are preparing for their first friendly match of pre-season, against their senior counterparts on Sunday July 20th . The all-Viola encounter is scheduled for a 20:00 CEST kick-off at the Stadio Curva Fiesole.
Some of the players who helped take the U20s to the Scudetto final last season have gone out on loan elsewhere to gain first-team experience: Tommaso Vannucchi and Jacopo Tarantino to Pontedera, Tommaso Rubino to Carrarese, Lorenzo Romani to Lecco, Riccardo Spaggiari to Arzignano, Jonas Harder to Padova and Leonardo Baroncelli to Gubbio.
However, a number of new faces have arrived over the last few weeks. One of these is Potenza-born Luca Montenegro. The 18-year-old midfielder spent last season at Ternana, where he made his senior debut.
There are many familiar faces as some played for Fiorentina at the 2025 Viareggio Cup 2025, while others previously played for the Under 18.
