Sporting director Daniele Prade reflected on the 1-0 loss to Roma on Sunday evening at the Stadio Olimpico.

“Their goalkeeper made some incredible saves and we weren’t clinical in front of goal. It’s a shame because the performance was there. We are a real team and this defeat has to serve as extra motivation for Thursday and winning our next three games.

“It’s a shame because we performed at a very high level, but I don’t think the refereeing standards were up to scratch.

“If you look at what we did today in terms of heart, strength, tenacity and technical quality, we have everything in place to do well, so we need to be confident. This defeat has to push us forward to finish strongly.”
