Coach Raffaele Palladino faced the press after his side drew 2-2 with Milan at San Siro on Sunday. Here’s some of what the coach had to say:
“We’ve improved since the Napoli game, picking up seven points from the games against Milan, Juventus and Atalanta. I like our attitude – we’re on the right track and in good shape both physically and mentally. We gave Milan a tough time. We need to take a step forward and play with more maturity when facing teams lower down the league.
“If you let Milan play their game then they’ll punish you. We tried to take the match to them, playing with a higher back line. We knew that this could run risks because great players can hurt you. I really liked the courage we showed today. It was a really great game overall.”
