Raffaele Palladino spoke to the press after Fiorentina’s 2-1 defeat to Napoli this Sunday afternoon. Here’s some of what our coach had to say:

“I’m happy with the performance. We were up against a really top team who’ll be fighting to win Serie A until the very end. They’re an excellent side and were playing in front of their fans. We put in a courageous performance. Napoli made it hard for us in the first half – as they do to every team – but we stayed in the game. I loved our fighting spirit and courage.

“ I thought the players I brought in such as Nicolo Fagioli and Albert Gudmundsson did well. This game should give us belief moving forward. After defeats I don’t like talking too positively but today I can’t reproach anything from my team – I really liked our performance.”
