With regard to the false, groundless reports that have begun circulating in recent hours about the possible sale of Fiorentina, President Rocco Commisso wishes to strongly stress the following:

“I categorically deny the rumors that are currently circulating about the possible sale of the club.

“I find it astonishing that these falsehoods resurface in times of difficulty, when what is needed is unity, togetherness and cohesion among all parties - the team, the club, the city and the fans.

“We started over with a new coaching set-up just a few days ago. Let's give time to the people who have my confidence – from Alessandro [Ferrari] through to everyone else at the club – to get on with their work.

“Let me reiterate that Fiorentina has not been put up for sale and is not for sale.”
