Coach Paolo Vanioli was interviewed following his side’s 1-0 loss to Lausanne in the UEFA Conference League:

“Thoughts on Sunday’s game against Udinese should be no excuse, but obviously the league counts for a lot. We’ve progressed in the Conference League, and I’ve always said that it’s an important competition.

“Following our defeat against Verona – as well as our performance - we’ve got to give everything we’ve got, and dig even deeper.”
