Assistant coach Raffaele Longo speaks to us about Fiorentina's pre-season preparations and his relationship with Fabio Grosso.

“Our pre-season preparations are going well. The guys are working really hard. We're trying to make sure, first of all, there are no injuries while we get them ready. They're not going to be 100% yet – it would be a problem if they were.

How and when did you start working with Fabio Grosso?

“I met Fabio three years ago. He's a great character and is always striving to improve – himself, the coaching staff and the players. Anyway, he gave me a call, we started working together and it's gone pretty well. We've achieved our goals the last few years."
