Luca Ranieri said that Fiorentina were satisfied with the result after they battled to a draw at Lecce.
It wasn't the prettiest Fiorentina performance but you take home a point, which keeps the gap with the relegation spots unaltered.
“It may not have been pretty but we played well in the first half. Our passing was good. We did well in the second half too when they started pushing with the fans behind them. We probably dropped a bit too deep but it's a decent point and a point was by no means a given after all the matches we've played in the last fortnight. We're very happy with the performance.”
The whole team played with grit and determination and you led by example with your own display.
“Since the coach came in, we've all turned things around. You can see our desire on the field. There was a time when we would have got nothing from a game like this – I remember Verona and Como... Lecce were better in the second half today but we held in there. Now we'll have two days off and then we'll start preparing for Sassuolo.”
