The Argentine forward was unveiled today at Viola Park. Here’s some of what the 24-year-old had to say:

AIMS: "I’m ready for action and at the coach's disposal. I’ve come here full of enthusiasm and with high expectations."

TACTICS: "The coach asked me to link up with the team as quickly as possible. I’m happy to be playing alongside Moise Kean - he’s a top striker."

THE CHOICE: "As soon as I heard about what Fiorentina were doing I was excited to come here. The bond between the city, the fans and the team is fantastic."

TEAM-MATES: "I’m getting along well with everyone. I know Franco [Mastantuono] well, and we have great chemistry."

FUTURE: "I’ve made great progress, but I want to focus on the present."

ATTRIBUTES: "I believe scoring goals is crucial, no matter how the ball ends up in the net. I also want to improve my weaker foot."

AMBITION: "You have to keep your ambitions high, both as an individual and as a team. It wasn't easy having my dad as a coach when I was younger, although he still passes on plenty of advice to me."

THE FIORENTINA SHIRT: "It’s a huge responsibility, but one I relish. I’ll give my best every day."
