“If only it was worth six points! It was an important game, though. We're pleased that we got our approach right and scored an early goal. We played well and most importantly we got the result. We're very happy to have won an important head-to-head match.”

It's never easy to take points from team scrapping down the bottom.

“No, the Italian league is tough and there are no easy games. You have to earn every point on the pitch. We did that today by playing good football, being aggressive and defending well as a team. It means a lot and we have to carry on like this.”

It was good to see lots of goals and different goalscorers.

“Every goal is important at the moment but we scored some nice goals today. We're happy when our forwards score as we always try to create the right conditions for them. Dodo scored a superb solo effort. We're delighted with the performance but now we only have a few days to prepare for the Conference League, then on Sunday we have a very tough one against Inter. We'll rest up then get ready for what lies ahead.”
