ACF Fiorentina has announced that the club has signed Giovanni Fabbian on loan from Bologna.

Fabbian, born in Camposampiero on January 14, 2003, learnt his trade in the Inter youth teams. He has also played for Reggina during his career.

The new Viola player has made 91 appearances for Bologna in Serie A, the Coppa Italia, the Italian Super Cup, the Champions League and the Europa League, scoring 11 goals and winning a Coppa Italia.

Fabbian has been a key member of the Italy U-21 national team and has already been called up to the senior national team as well.

He has chosen to wear the number 80 jersey for Fiorentina.
