Here’s what Stevan Jovetic had to say after the game between Fiorentina All Stars and Operazione Nostalgia Legends:

“I hadn’t been back in Florence in ages, and I’d really missed it. I’m really happy to see the stadium full. I hope Fiorentina gets back to where they deserve to be.

“I remember [my goal against Sporting Clube de Portugal]. I came on at half-time, we were losing 1-0, we needed a goal and I got one. It’s really clear in my mind – it was an amazing feeling.

“We know we should’ve gone through [against Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the 2009/10 Champions League season]. Unfortunately back then VAR didn’t exist, and they scored a goal that should’ve been ruled out for offside. It’s a shame because I think we could’ve done well.”
