Joma frames ACF Fiorentina history in new "work-of-art" kit

The Joma ACF Fiorentina home kit for the 2026/27 season pays tribute to the club's roots, Florence's artistic heritage and the Viola centenary through the concept “Art can be worn too"JOMA FIORENTINA_PRODUCTO-3

Every club has a starting point and a history that makes it timeless. To mark Joma’s return as ACF Fiorentina’s kit sponsor in the year of the club's centenary, the two organizations have chosen to pay tribute to the club’s origins. The 2026/27 kit therefore celebrates the club’s history, its artistic heritage and original colors, and the passion of those who built the Viola dream.

Just like a painting, football can be a work of art too – and this was the idea behind the Spanish brand's development of the home shirt for the coming season, with the new design drawing inspiration from the ornamental frames of Renaissance artworks.

This frame concept – created to showcase the artwork – is now transferred onto the shirt, which becomes the focal point of the design. The details are incorporated into the fabric using an embossed technique, creating a dynamic, three-dimensional effect that instantly catches the eye – as can happen when you're standing before a work of art. This distinctive feature conveys art, belonging and prestige without straying from the club’s sporting essence.

In addition, the shirt incorporates several details celebrating the club’s 100th anniversary: the ‘1926–2026’ countdown on the front of the shirt and, inside the collar, the number 100 designed graphically to evoke the symbol of infinity. The ACF Fiorentina logo, which is heat-applied, is made of silicone and features several embossed lilies, making it recognizable to the touch.

Joma and ACF Fiorentina unveiled this reinterpretation of the club’s roots with the slogan “Art can be worn too” at an event held at Hotel St. Regis in Florence. The jersey does not only replicate the past: it frames it, updates it and brings it onto the pitch for a new shared chapter.
