Here’s some of what our new Spanish player Alex Jimenez had to say at his unveiling, which took place at the Wind Tre Media Center at the Rocco B. Commisso Viola Park.

CHOICE – “I didn’t think twice about joining Fiorentina because the project excited me.”

MILAN – “It was a great chapter in my career, but now I’m only thinking about working hard for Fiorentina every day.”

NATIONAL TEAM – “I’m happy for my country - we won the World Cup.”

CAREER – “I’m young - I can still develop a lot. Changing teams can always be a positive thing.”

GOALS – “It’s a bit early to talk about that. Right now, it’s time to get down to work.”

POSITION – “I like playing wherever the team needs me. I’ve always played as a right-back.”

IRAOLA – “As a coach he helped me a great deal, but now I’m focused on the present and what Fabio Grosso asks of me.”

PREMIER LEAGUE – “It’s more physical than Serie A.”
