Alejandro Jimenez shares his initial thoughts with www.acffiorentina.com after completing his move from Bournemouth.

You spent two years at Milan and won the Super Cup with them. What's it like to come back to Italy?

“It all began for me in Italy. I always wanted to come back to the country where I started playing first-team football. I'm delighted to have joined Fiorentina. What was nice is that when I first spoke to Fiorentina they made it clear they wanted me 100%. That's why I'm here.”

You can play right or left, in defense or further up the wing, and you're a player who likes to get on the ball, aren't you?

“The position doesn't matter much to me, the main thing is doing my bit to help the team, but I do like playing at right-back. That's always been my position.”

You've been to Florence before. What do you make of the fans?

“I expect the fans to get behind us 100% and we'll be with them 100%.”

We've seen you with both blond hair and darker hair. What can we expect to see this season?

“Expect blond.”
