Pablo Mari was interviewed after his side claimed a 3-0 win over Grosseto in a pre-season friendly. Here’s some of what the Spaniard had to say:

“What’s most important is that we won and kept a clean sheet. It’s also important to get more minutes under our belts so that we can hit the ground running in Serie A.”

“We’re playing differently under the new coach. We’re trying our best to take on his ideas.”

“I’m really keen to do well. We’re well aware that if we have a solid pre-season camp then we’ll be best placed to start the season well.”

“It’s really important to have a good core of players. The new guys have bedded in really quickly. We’ve got a great group of players.”
