“The table itself shows us what kind of season it is. I don’t think there is another league quite like ours across Europe. There are many teams with more or less the same points, so it’s very balanced. The team that is most consistent will probably stay on top until the end.

“We must focus on each single day and every single match and improve what can be improved, knowing that we’ve earned what we’ve achieved and can do much more in the future too. Our goal must be to win every game.

“We must work on our out-of-possession phase, because as soon as our opponents get a chance we concede. So that needs to be improved. The rest looks good to me. We’ve had two comeback wins away with a one-man disadvantage. We played an excellent Coppa Italia game three days ago. The team is sharp and has the right mentality. We must continue improving.

“Juventus have great individual talent and they are a team that likes to play. They sometimes press high and other times they sit deep. I don’t know what they’ll do in Florence, but we’ll be ready.”
