Dragusin: "Happy to join Fiorentina. I can't wait to pull on the shirt"

Our latest signing Radu Dragusin speaks to www.acffiorentina.com.

How does it feel to be a Fiorentina player?

“It feels great. I'm thrilled to be here. I can't wait to get out on the field with the others.”

You've come back to Italy – to a beautiful city in Florence and a club that's hungry for success.

“Yes, I've visited the city before: I came here for a few days when I was at Genoa. It's an amazing city with wonderful, friendly people. We have a big season ahead of us and we're keen to do well.”

You have experience of playing in Italy and in England. What do you bring with you from your time at Tottenham?

“It was a fantastic experience for my development, both as a player and as a person. I had lots of tough battles with great strikers and I've also improved my quality from playing with the players there. As I said, it improved me a lot. Now I hope to help the team here.”

Do you know any of your new team-mates already?

“Yeah, lots. I played with Albert [Gudmundsson] at Genoa and we get on really well. I also know [Nicolo] Fagioli, Moise Kean and Luca Ranieri, whom I played with at Salernitana. So I do know a few of them.”

Have you exchanged messages with any of them?

“Of course. I couldn't wait to come here so I spoke to them.”

Do you have a message for the Fiorentina fans?

“I'm happy to be here and I can't wait to pull the shirt on. I'm sure there'll be an amazing atmosphere at the stadium. I can't wait to get started.”
