Fiorentina Primavera beat Lecce 3-2 with goals by Braschi, Angiolini and Conti. Here are the highlights of matchday five of the Primavera 1 season.
Eddy Kouadio was once again part of the starting XI. At minute five, he delivered a great pass to Brando Mazzeo, who controlled the ball in the box and earned a penalty for Fiorentina. Riccardo Braschi took the penalty and scored the opening goal.
Another penalty was awarded at minute 30, this time to Lecce. Nemanja Milojevic took it, but it was saved by Pietro Leonardelli. However, the ball remained in the six-yard box, with Milojevic seizing the opportunity and scoring the equalizer.
Just a few minutes before half-time, Lecce Primavera took the lead with a header by their captain Fabiano Pacia.
Fiorentina then made it 2-2 at the end of the first half with a free kick by Gianmarco Angiolini.
After very few chances throughout the second half, Fiorentina secured the win at minute 83, thanks to a goal into the corner by Gabriele Conti, making the final score 3-2.
With these three points, coach Daniele Galloppa’s team are now first in the table with 10 points, as they wait for the results of the other matches.
