Gosens: “We’re more resilient”

Robin Gosens shared his thoughts on Fiorentina’s 2-2 away draw against Lazio:

“Obviously if you score in the 90th minute you want to hold onto the result. We must analyse why we conceded, because I think in these situations you’ve got to avoid taking risks. Unfortunately it didn’t go that way, but overall we’re improving. I think in a game like today’s had it taken place three or four weeks ago we would’ve already lost it in the first half. However, today we stuck at it. Everyone put their bodies on the line and that’s really important. The team understand the situation we’re in.

“We’re more resilient. Even if we suffer setbacks we’re able to avoid slumping and keep believing in our qualities. The coach deserves credit for making it clear that we’re a good team and even if games go like today we’ve still got the quality to come out on top. I’m trying to see today’s game as a point gained, not two dropped. We need to be positive.”
