Robin Gosens answered questions from the media after Fiorentina's 1-1 draw with Atalanta.

“It's been a difficult season for me personally as I was sidelined for a long time with injury problems, then afterwards I had to reach full fitness, which is essential for the type of game I play. 

"Now I want to focus on preparing well for the start of next season and I hope to be here because I feel at home here. I'm grateful to the club and the city for giving me this opportunity after a tough spell in Berlin and I'm very keen to repay them.

"It's not always possible to play nice football. We tried to play good football in our first 15 games and we cut a poor figure. Then we rallied together and took a huge step forward in terms of our mentality and that's when we started picking up the results we needed to stay in Serie A.”
