Fiorentina managed to take all three points from a hard-fought match against Bologna at the Stadio Franchi on Sunday night.
The Viola drew first blood on 13 minutes when Fabiano Parisi powered his way through the center and finished via a slightly fortunate deflection.
Raffaele Palladino's men took a one-goal lead into the break but it was canceled out on the hour mark by Thijs Dallinga's header.
Parisi played a pivotal role in restoring Fiorentina's advantage as he burst into the box and forced a save out of Lucasz Skorupski, with Amir Richardson tucking away the loose ball.
However, Bologna were in no mood for rolling over after their Coppa Italia triumph in midweek and leveled the scores once again when Dan Ndoye's pullback was finished from close range by Riccardo Orsolini in the 79th minute.
The Viola weren't done. With six minutes left on the clock, David de Gea picked out Rolando Mandragora with a long punt, the midfielder headed on for Moise Kean and the Italy striker managed to get the better of his man and the keeper to secure three points.
