Fiorentina's final summer friendly match ended in a 1-1 draw with Deportivo A Coruna after Cher Ndour's first-half opener was canceled out by a lucky equalizer in the 90th minute.

After a quiet opening spell, Ndour opened the scoring on 17 minutes: Nicolo Fagioli's free kick was knocked down by Radu Dragusin and the Frenchman volleyed into the net from the middle of the penalty box.

The Viola pressed for another and shortly before the break Joao Mario saw a cross-shot hit the woodwork, but the sides went in level at the break.

Fabio Grosso's men maintained control in the second half but were unable to find a second.

The visitors went close to scoring in the 72nd minute when Diego Villares rattled the crossbar, then got a stroke of luck at the death as Nsongo's free kick took a deflection off the wall and left Oliver Christensen no chance.

Fiorentina's next match will be in the Coppa Italia against Benevento or Ravenna at the Stadio Artemio Franchi on August 14.
