Nicolo Fagioli was interviewed after his side was held to a 0-0 draw against Nottingham Forest. Here’s some of what our midfielder had to say:

“I liked how we managed possession, especially when they pressed us high. We also showed good personality and ambition with the ball.”

“I think I performed well, as did all of my team-mates. I feel at ease playing where I did and I’ll do what the coach asks of me.”

“We’re here to work hard and get ready for the season. Our best is yet to come.”

“I need to get around the pitch better. The coach wants to play attacking football, which both me and my team-mates enjoy. The whole team needs to be on the same page.”

“We’re working hard every day. We need to keep improve but perfection is almost impossible. We need to iron out the mistakes we’re making.”
