Radu Dragusin spoke to the media at a press conference in the wake of Fiorentina's opening-day defeat to Roma. Here's what he had to say:

On the heavy scoreline

“We need to do better at staying in the game. We can't concede four goals. We're just starting and we were up against a great team that's been playing together for a long time, so they understand each other's movements. That's where we want to get and I think we will but we need to get to know each other better first.”

On defending against Roma

“Roma have lots of fantastic players so it's not only about stopping one player. We have to be tough to break down, tough in the duels. We did that at times today but not enough. We must become a difficult team to score against.”

On settling in at the club

“I'm enjoying it here, I've been welcomed in really well by my team-mates and the staff. We're getting to grips with what the boss wants from us. I'm happy to be here.”

On how Serie A has changed

“Lots of top players have come to Serie A in recent seasons and that's lifted the level. I don't think there are any easy teams now. There are no foregone conclusions.”
