NEGOTIATIONS – “Knowing director Fabio Paratici as I do, it was easy for me to say yes to Fiorentina. I didn’t have to think twice. The directors explained that the club wants to really kick on, so the choice was easy for me.”

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR – “I want to thank Tottenham for helping me grow as a player – I’ll cherish the wonderful years I spent with Spurs.”

THIS FIORENTINA SIDE – “I only met the coach a few days ago. His Frosinone team played excellent football.”

TEAM-MATES – “I’ve joined a group of players that’s both talented and hungry for success.”

FITNESS – “I’m feeling good - I’ve fully recovered from my injury. It was a tough period, but it made me a better person. I’m ready to serve the team.”

FUTURE – “I want to repay the faith the club has shown in me.”
