Beto Betuncal and Alieu Njie were presented to the media at a press conference at Rocco B Commisso Viola Park on Thursday.

Here's a selection of their comments:

BETO

GOALS - “I really want to score but it's more important that the team wins games. We made a bad start in our opening games but we're picking up now.”

KEAN - “Moise did really well here but we're different players. I'm really keen and determined to be successful. I've come to Florence for that reason.”

PELLEGRINO - “I get on really well with Mateo. He listens to the coach and we talk a lot. I'm happy for him because he's got off to a good start.”

PORTUGAL - “My time in Portugal when I was a difference experience. I've always dreamed of playing at the highest level. I chose the number 23 shirt to remind me of those days.”

EVERTON - “The Everton fans appreciated the way I battled on the pitch. I'll miss them because they always showed a lot of love for me but I thought it was time for a change and now I'm happy to play for Fiorentina.”

VANOLI - “The boss wants me to help the team when we're not in possession, defend the ball and provide lay-offs. I need to work hard on making runs in behind.”

NAPOLI - “Napoli are a great team but we mustn't be scared of them. I really believe in this team.”

NJIE

FIORENTINA - “I improved at Torino and had some good times. I'll never forget the club. Fiorentina have big plans and will help my career. I couldn't say no.”

VANOLI - “I worked with the coach at Torino and he gave me my Serie A debut. I know the way he wants to play. He's helped me improve my consistency. I expect to do even better here at Fiorentina.”

GOALS - “I want to make our fans happy. My aim is to show what I can do and help the team. I'll try to chip in with some goals too.”

IDOL - “Leao is a fantastic player but I'm my own player. He's an inspiration for me but I want to be Njie and keep improving every day.”

AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT - “I want to score more goals and develop a knack for scoring so that I can do even more to help the team.”

NAPOLI - “We're going to try and beat Napoli. It's time for us to show what we're capable of.”
