ACF Fiorentina is pleased to announce the signing of defender Benedetta Orsi.

Born in Emilio-Romagna on February 25, 2000, Benedetta arrives from Sassuolo. She came through the ranks at Reggiana, where she won a Serie B title, before joining Empoli for the 2017/18 season.

In summer 2018, she moved to Sassuolo, making over 125 appearances and scoring once in all competitions. In 2022, Benedetta made her senior national team debut in a 1-0 win over Denmark in the Algarve Cup.

After eight seasons in Emilia-Romagna, Benedetta has chosen Fiorentina as the next step in her career. She has signed a contract with the Viola until June 2027, with an option for the club to extend the deal into the following campaign.
