Fiorentina is preparing to celebrate its centenary with a season that will feature numerous initiatives and events dedicated to the club’s history and to everyone who, over the years, has contributed to making this shirt a famous and beloved symbol all over the world.

On Saturday, August 29, at the end of the Serie A match between Fiorentina and Frosinone, scheduled for 18:30 CEST, the Stadio Artemio Franchi will turn into a huge open-air stage for a celebration show that, through impressive tifo displays, lights, images, music and many surprises, will celebrate the 100 years of Viola history, together with the iconic players who wore this shirt and were part of unforgettable chapters of Fiorentina history.

Another date you cannot miss is Wednesday, September 2, when at 20:00 CEST the Stadio Artemio Franchi will host a unique match: the Fiorentina Legends team will face the Operazione Nostalgia All Star team, in an evening dedicated to celebrating football and its icons.

Apart from the events to be held at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, this upcoming season will also feature events dedicated to the club’s history that will take place across the city of Florence and at the Rocco B. Commisso Viola Park.

Last week saw the first day of issue ceremony for the commemorative postage stamp marking the club’s centenary; in August, the State Mint will mint the official Centenary coin, and in September, a book published by Giunti dedicated to the history of Fiorentina will be presented.
