On Tuesday, Rocco B. Commisso Viola Park welcomed 163 representatives of Fiorentina’s affiliated academies, as they took part in an intense day of training, both in the classroom and on the pitch.

The traditional end-of-the-season clinic was held this year too, with sessions in the classroom dedicated to training goalkeepers, the principles of the Fiorentina model applied to academy teams, as well as individual work with U11 to U14 teams.

After having lunch at the wonderful EstraPad, the group of guests moved to the stands of the Stadio Davide Astori to watch the training session and interact with the coaches on the pitch, who were ready to answer questions and share insights.

Once the training session on the pitch came to an end, K-Sport, Fiorentina’s Official Supplier Partner, showed the methods and devices they use to collect data on the players’ performances to monitor them and develop the best training solutions based on the athlete’s characteristics.

This meeting, like every previous edition, marks the end of a very productive season that enabled Fiorentina’s affiliated academies to grow, as they were constantly involved in an exchange of ideas with the Viola staff.

Webinars, on-site classes, the chance to attend training sessions, educational material and information available on the cloud: there are many enriching insights at one’s disposal, thanks to a program based on the Fiorentina Model aimed at building an increasingly intense and solid relationship between the club and its affiliated academies.
