ACF Fiorentina is pleased to announce the appointment of Pablo Piñones-Arce as head coach of our women’s team.

Born in Sweden to Chilean parents, Piñones-Arce enjoyed a successful playing career as a forward in Sweden, Italy and Denmark. His coaching journey began in 2016 in men’s football as the assistant coach at Hammarby. In 2019, he took charge of Frej and a year later was named head coach of Hammarby Women.

Under his leadership, the Swedish side secured promotion to the Damallsvenskan by winning the second-tier national title. The following season, Piñones-Arce guided Hammarby to an impressive domestic double, clinching both the Swedish league title and the Swedish Cup. In 2024, he moved to the United States to take on the role of Technical Director at Houston Dash, a National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) club competing in the top tier of American football.

Starting on 1 July 2025, Piñones-Arce will officially begin his tenure as ACF Fiorentina Femminile head coach, having signed a contract until June 2026, with the club potentially able to take up the option to extend it into 2026/27.
