The second edition of the Joe Barone Memorial was held at Viola Park on Saturday, with 16 Pulcini Misti (mixed U9-10) teams taking part in an intense day packed with sport and fun.

The Davide Astori pitch was the playground for the youthful, infectious energy of hundreds of youngsters from different local clubs, who gave their all in every match, honoring the memory of a man who left a profound mark on the club and on Italian football.

To a backdrop of smiles, applause and excitement, Viola Park thus bore witness to the values which Joe Barone always encouraged – a focus on youth and a love for the game – and which were underlined by his family in attendance.
