The new season kicks off today with the draw for the 2026 Serie A Women's Cup. Now in its second edition following last season’s maiden event, this top-class women's football competition begins in August, featuring the 12 Serie A teams divided into three groups of four. The winner of each group and the best runner-up will advance to the semi-finals.

Fiorentina Women’s head coach Pablo Pinones Arce’s side have been placed in Pot 2. They will be taking on Roma, Sassuolo and Ternana.
